I recently powered down also. I'm still relatively new but I have learned enough to discourage me. I got spammed on my first Bitconnect post. Not cool. Then, I began to notice many articles where the upvotes were WAY higher than the VIEWS. Uh, that should be impossible, right?! Wrong! The bots are doing the upvotes and not even reading the damn article.
I only began posting here because it was Censorship Free. To my dismay, it is not.
The reason i started on here also. I quit facebook ages ago.
The upvote each others comments to get to the top of all comments. Its very sneaky and they basically make people dance for them.
Well, the likes of me and you are the problem because we have a voice and are not afraid to use it.
I am sorry to hear you have been getting it rough as well. I might even just sign out and leave steemit until the weekend. I read, reply and upvote back to all comments made in my posts so i will see your message.
