Will we run out of silver by 2028?
Now before I get started, I am not a chart person, always found them to be to much to look at. I did stumble across this chart today, found it very intresting.

It basically gives you a date that you can expect to run out of metals.
Now they claim that by 2028 there will be no silver left, and by 2030 there will be no gold left.
So is this a warning or is it just another chart person? With the current deficit in silver, I can see it happening not to forsure if it will be as early as 2028. I mean we are only 13 years away from that point.
I am sure that as technology advances the consumption of silver will increase, so with that being said could it happen earlier that 2028?
Alot of discussion could be done on this topic.

Will we run out of silver deposits to mine? No, I think that's a reality we likely will not face in our lifetimes.
Will we run out of silver deposits to mine at current production costs? Yes, absolutely. The cost of production will continually rise as deposits are less rich and less common. Of course, we also have to consider things like oil prices, alternative energy sources decades in the future, etc, but I think production costs will continue to rise.
Furthermore, because the price has been suppressed so low for so long, and because above ground reserves have been dumped on the market to the tune of billions of ounces over the last 50+ years (which has distorted supply and demand interactions), miners now are simply not prepared to keep pace with rising demand. Because of these low prices, they simply are not investing enough money into exploration and the creation of new mines.

With silver actually being used for industrial purposes I can see a point of running low, but right now it's the prices so low you just HAVE to buy some!

I like silver as an investment at this price. As for running out in 2028 I could care less for myself as I will be 84 if I make it. Remember once the price is $100 in todays $ other silver will be found such as in the oceans.

I am stocking up on as much silver as I can right now but I think there will always be silver that could be mined. We just have to find it and get production costs down so it's profitable.
