Actually, we're approaching the "Middle" of "Spring"... We've been taught wrong... Think of the "Shortest Day" as the "Middle" of Winter, and the "Longest Day" as the "Middle" of Summer... Spring and Fall, work the same way...

Well, regardless of the start and end dates to the seasons, it was still the hottest date on record for the dates currently used to measure the start and end of spring in the US. And... nothing has “sprung” here yet. No grape hyacinths nor cherry blossoms, no leaves on trees. So the plants were still having winter naps. ☺️ Though I bet yesterday will get things blooming. 💐 🌺 🌳
I already have leaves popping out of my Grape Vines...
It’s funny, I thought things would come early this year but then the deep freez last month pushed everything back. Normally we have cherry blossoms in February, with daffodils in full bloom by now. So far.... nada.
My first Daffodil bloomed at the end of January... The final one Bloomed about a week ago...
Well you must be living somewhere that has had warmer temperatures! You are very lucky. ☺️
We've had an unusual amount of Rain... Even the Leaves on my Fig Tree are Popping out, with tiny Figs...
