A Couple New Silver Additions From Silver Shield
After being shutout in my search for silver in the south, we arrived home and the postman knocks on the door (always a good sign!) I had to sign for not one, but two packages.

Now it hindsight, it probably wasn't a good idea to go to a coin shop with a NY Yankee tee-shirt on, as the owner probably added a few extra bucks to the price of an Eagle which looked like it was in circulation. But after talking for awhile about crypto-currencies and the like, the gentleman warmed up to me a bit. However, no fiat money changed hands for a semi-shiny piece of silver.

But my Silver Shield coins arrived and like a kid getting an early birthday present, I tore the packages open immediately. The Death Dollar coin is a Proof, ordered directly thru SSE. "Blinded Liberty" is featured on the coin and shows Liberty blinded by her cell phone. Boldly Across the top is the word IGNORANT and in the bottom right quarter of the coin are the words "In The Fed We Trust". Maybe a keeper, but if there is secondary market demand...
The Slave On coin is a BU coin purchased slightly above spot at the time and the Slave Queen series is a favorite of mine, so this one goes into the collection.

I only discover GSM about a month ago. Since then I've been dumping a ton of money with them. I was never a fan of rounds, but his designs are simply amazing!
I love watching Chris Duane's videos, explaining the thought process behind each new release. The details in the art work just blow me away.

Besides being blinded by the cell phone, I am amazed at the detail showing that Blinded Liberty is shackled to a Ball & Chain of Debt!

The amount of detail in these pieces of silver art is amazing. And less than 1,200 minted, go figure. I look forward to receiving the SSE packages more than any other.
Silver shield produces some very nice coins and series. Nice pickups keep stacking my friend.

Awesome! I've been getting the SS stuff for about three months now as often as my paycheck allows and I love all of them! I've been following Chris Duane for quite some time, even before I started stacking. His designs are really top notch and quite in line with my own thoughts more often than not. I've yet to get any proofs but I order two of everything that I do order in hopes that when the premium rises maybe that'll help me trade into one! I just started a YouTube channel and I think I'm most excited to share my Silver Shield unboxings with everyone! Very cool. Oh, new follower here by the way haha! Looking forward to more!
