THIS LIBERTY "V" NICKEL . . . NUMISMATIC VALUE ... WORTH THREE DOLLARS !!!
I have a Liberty "V" Nickel pictured below that has numismatic value and it is worth about three dollars.
It is easily identified by the large letter "V" on the reverse, indicating Roman Numeral V for FIVE.
Coin collectors see these coins that are the same size, color and weight of current U.S. nickels.

WHY I AM POSTING THIS COIN
I've been collecting coins for over 40 years. I actually bought this coin over 40 years ago. Then, it was actually worth about a dollar, today it is worth about three dollars.
Here's just another example of increased value of numismatic coins for coin collectors.
I am putting this post out to bring attention to coins that people collect.

Yup, I have a box of old silver and other coins going back to 1800,s
Just looking at them once in a while makes you wonder just where this coin has been, and how many people you read about today actually held that coin, but in the other hand, look at where an ounce of silver is today and where it will be soon.
20 dollars now is nothing, when it hits 50.00 and climbs like bitcoin,it will put smiles on all of us that have been stacking it.
Numismatic coins are worth collecting for sure, like the steem coin I just got!!! 😀

I was nerdy and this coin was bought from a coin shop, in the coin holder that it still is in. As a kid, I kept my coins neatly in the same coin holders and in the same folder. After all these years, the folder has always moved with me and stayed in a box. They have a lot of sentimental value to me. I only look at them every few years, usually somewhere before or after moving day :)

In my collection, I also have coins from the Philippines. These were given to me 40 years ago by someone who went there with the military. They were not old but just cool coins from somewhere else.
