Happy Cinco de Mayo to all of the world🎉. Today we are going to celebrate everyone's favorite Mexican product:silver!
According to Wikipedia Mexico is the worlds largest producer of silver. In 2014 they pulled out about 5000 tones of the precious metal. source
Try this on for size: a 1/20th ounce on top of a 2 ounce round. There's 40 of those little gals in that big 2oz'er
Sorry about the glare, here is a 2014 1/10th and a 1 ounce comparison.
This would be the only "coin" of all these(it has a face value of 50 pesos). It is a half ounce of silver, this design also comes in a 1 ounce and proof versions.
