That is a beautiful platter! Growing up one of my best friend’s mothers had blue and white china like that. She served food on it and displayed it throughout her house. Whenever I see dishes like that it reminds me of their family and all the time I spent at their house growing up. Beautiful piece!
I love blue & white china, from my Mom's influence. Some of the pieces I have are from her... like this cake stand below.
Through the years, I slowly accumulated blue & white plates enough to throw a party for 75, and I would have enough blue & whites for each one to have a dinner plate and a dessert plate, LOL. That plate and cake look great. Chocolate cake with vanilla frosting is my fave!
