Of course you know, what ever you do I always want in. I love this idea and can't wait to see what they end up looking like. Looking forward to see how they tone over time. If they turn out looking great, I'd rather the toned ones if they are on offer. I don't think I've ever seen a toned set of QB. Cheers buddy
I am very interested to see how they turn out. There have been many pieces I have seen after toning that might even look better than the original. You may be on to a new thing @britcoin.
This should be a fun experiment. It will be interesting to see what color they turn without any intentional influence on them (chemicals and such). Great idea!
I want in, i enjoy a good toning experiment. I fried an egg on top of my Rwanda nautical ounce and that gave instant toning! the underside which was in hot oil was unaffected but the sunny side up got full on colouration. What i am planning on is putting it in my exhaust pipe for a few months to see what comes of it. But yea cool experiment.
These are the coins I was looking at getting but they are a little out of my price range (by a little I mean a lot). I want in.
Can't believe you're going to do this, won't it make them be worthless? I always thought that you must not touch or handle the coins if you want to sell them?
I want in.
You should get some liver of sulphur and soak one in that for 30 seconds or less.
Backyard Bullion has a good video showing how that works out. You can stop the process at any stage when you see an appealing tone.
I want in! Interested to see how the toning turns out on these beasts!
