Well when I buy silver I don't like proof sets because the demands a higher premium. I usually go for whatever I can get closest to spot. As far as quality, Canadian or Australian. Both should be stamped 9999. Where as most only has 3 nines. I am new to gold though so maybe one of the veterans around here can tell you more.
