Surprise Weekend Hunt
I got a call from my contact at Wells Fargo on Saturday telling me that they had two boxes of half-dollars and asking if I wanted them. There is only one answer to that, hell yes. I had to break into some emergency funds on short notice but I can’t resist.
The First box was a complete bust. Not a single piece of silver or interesting coin. Second box wasn’t too bad yielding 10 40% silver, a 1964 90% silver, and a walking liberty.

That is not a bad find @jmjury! Every little bit will add up overtime.
I was happy with it. My best box ever yielded 46 silver coins, which spoiled me. I really like finding the old ones like the Walking Liberty. I found one Booker T Washington commemorative half, which I didn't even know existed. It's in poor condition, but still a cool find. One box from last week had 4 proof coins with the 'S' mint mark. It was my first time finding any of those. I really like them, even though they are the clad ones and not silver.
I have yet to find a proof, but that is awesome. I have a couple of rolls to go through when I get home, so I am hoping to get something good. Haha!

That is great, and while you busted into your emergency funds, its not like you actually spent your money!! Deposit them back and your only a few dollars short!
