Steem Short 7 - Do you want to write the next part of this 3 part Story?

Contest

So, about a week ago, I entered a contest to make the opening for the latest Steem Short with @ADSactly. If you haven't heard of @ADsactly, it stand for Autonomous Decentralized Society Acting Cooperatively to Leverage You! and they are a really good group. I always enjoy their posts, and I find it to be some of the best content on the platform.

So, I kind of forgot that I had entered the contest, and then one day I had a message waiting from @vcelier telling me I was the winner and I needed to contact him with my contribution!

I was delighted, but at this stage I had only written my summary which had to be between 100 and 200 words long. The first part of the story had to be 500 to 1500 words long, and it had been a while since I wrote such a long story. I regularly take part in @jayna's #fiftywords and @marianneWest's #Freewrite, but these are fifty words and 5 minutes respectively...

500 to 1500 words - that's a lot of words..

500 to 1500 words is a lot more than I had written for quite some time.. In fact, it has been about twenty years since I wrote something like this, and that was for English in school, and it was more like opinion pieces than fiction. But, hey, Steemit has thought me to give things a go, and just do your best, so I gave it a go, and got my finished piece of to @vcelier asap, so that he could post it here on Steemit. Here is the link if any of you want to read it, and he is now looking for someone to write part two, and after that he will look for one more author for part three, and lastly he will seek an illustrator and we will come up with an appropriate title, and the finished article will be posted.
