Este foarte placut sa traiesti in Iasi mai ales ca aici exista Parcul Copou unde te poti plimba sau sa stai pe o banca la umbra unui tei si sa admiri peisajul frumos plin de flori, si sa simti parfumu teiurilor si a florilor din Parcul Copou..
In Parcul Copou exista un tei foarte vechi de aproximativ 540 de ani se numeste Teiul lu Eminescu de ce i se spune Teiul lu Eminescu? Acest copac, denumit si „copacul îndragostitilor”, este locul unde poetul Mihai Eminescu îsi gasea inspiratia . În plimbarile prin Copou, Mihai Eminescu s-a îndragostit de tei, venind deseori sa-si adune gândurile sau sa discute cu bunul sau prieten, Ion Creanga, pe o banca aflata la umbra protectoare a teiului.
parcul Copou este cel mai vechi parc al Iasiului adaposteste doua obiective de importanta nationala: primul monument al Tarilor Române si un copac batrân de 4 secole si jumatate cunoscut ca "Teiul lui Eminescu".
M-am nascut in Iasi si de cind eram mica mereu ma duceam in Copou,nustiu de ce dar acolo gaseam eu linistea sufleteasca si-mi placea sa privesc aleile cu flori si sa ma plimb printe alei..în Copou o sa gasiti cel mai vechi parc din oras. Conform documentelor prezente în arhiva Primariei, se pare amenajarea parcului a început în anul 1833. Înca de atunci în centrul parcului se afla impunatoarea statuie – Obeliscul cu lei fiind inima parcului
Tot in parcul Copou puteti vedea de asemenea si muzeul lui Mihai Eminescu care a fost construit în 1989 dupa planurile arhitecului Virgiliu Onofrei.
