Synopsis (synopsis)

This manga tells the story of Death Note deliberately dropped by Ryukk, a Shinigami (angel of death, reaper) into the human world, where if someone's name is written in the book, then the person will soon die. The book was later discovered by Yagami Raito (Light Yagami), a child genius student of a Japanese police inspector.

Raito initially did not believe in the power of the Death Note, but after he tried and succeeded, he began to believe. Coupled with the appearance of Ryukk who will always follow the person who found his Death Note. With his genius, Raito then plans to use the book to create a clean and new world of evil (utopia) with himself as a god.

Raito then gets criminal data from television and from the central police database. To all the criminals killed by using Death Note. The death of criminals who are unnatural and in almost the same time makes the people and the police feel this incident is not happened by chance.

Although it sounds unreasonable, the police begin to feel there is someone behind all the events that befell the criminals. Raito who uses the power of Death Note is now referred to as Kira (Killer in Japanese dialect) and is considered a god by those who pro with Raito's actions.

Police then asked for help to an international detective whose face was never seen before. The detective calls herself L. By trapping Raito, L begins to realize that Kira (Raito) can kill someone at a distance even without touching him.

Realizing that he had been framed, Raito began declaring war on L. Beginning the war of analysis and psichology between two geniuses, L and Raito.
Although Death Note tells of a death book that can make people die, this manga tells more about the high intelligence analysis wars between its characters (Raito, L, Mello, Near).

The mystical or imaginary element is not so prominent in this manga.
Between the Manga and Live Action versions the wide screen clearly plot the story differently. But if told to choose which story I like, I prefer the live action version of her, because the story is not so long and convoluted. Although the storyline is different, there remains an equation between Live Action and its manga.
