parttimejob.online is it a scam or legit? A Review on the website

If you are regularly browsing the Facebook groups especially the online job hiring one way or another you already saw this website parttimejob.online.

Multiple referral links are swarming the comments section and it already piqued my interest to check what this site is all about. On this post, I will be sharing my personal opinion about Parttimejob.online and also why I did come up with that resolution afterward but first let's take a look on the website itself.

As you can see, on the address bar it doesn't show any https:// one major indicator that most online people who are in the industry for quite some time whether the website is a scam or not are the https:// text before the full website address.

 

Definition: HTTPS stands for Hypertext Transfer Protocol Secure. It is the protocol where encrypted HTTP data is transferred over a secure connection. By using secure connection such as Transport Layer Security or Secure Sockets Layer, the privacy and integrity of data are maintained and authentication of websites is also validated. - The Economic Times

In layman's term, the website isn't secure and the information that you will give like your email address, full name, and complete address might be compromised. Also when you try to register on the website on Mozilla Firefox browser there's a lock icon that is colored red giving you a heads up that the website is not secured.

Seeing that warning sign I already marked the website as not be used or as one of the websites that I should stay away from.

But for the record, not all websites that don't have the https:// text on their address bar is already a scam site, however, just to be safe and not our information be leaked elsewhere it would be safe to stay away from that.

Now let's take a look on the homepage of parttimejob.online and look closely at the first paragraph:

PartTimeJob.online - We has been around since years and has over thousands members worldwide. There are no fees to join, and we send out thousands of dollars in payments to our members every month.

I myself isn't good with the grammar but reading the first sentence I think there's something really off with it. It makes me feel that this site is just really a scam site. Plus on the information that they have been around "since years" makes me cringe to search further.

To deem if they are saying that they are online for years using a website called http://whois.domaintools.com/ by entering their domain namehttp://whois.domaintools.com/parttimejob.online I found out that it was just created last 21st of July 2018 roughly 17 days old website. Therefore the information that they are telling on that particular message is just a lie. Then if they are lying then we can say that parttimejob.online is a scam.

Aside from that, there are no proof or any blogs that I do know showing that they got paid already by the parttimejob.online. Usually, if people are paid on a website or anything may it be networking post, job etc. they include a payment proof showing that they already got the payment from it. But for this website alone, what you can only see is the referral links from other people, claiming that YOU MIGHT earn a good lump sum of money.

Being a steemian and a curator of a post gave me one good benefit and that is to be somehow keen on checking some details like do a reverse image search and plagiarism checks. So here's what I have found out using the same image link and performing a reverse image search I landed on a website called takingwork.com

Is it a coincidence that they have the very same content? Well, who knows except the site creator but for me, it is a clear indicator that the website is a scam site because they do not have any original information. Also if you will do a google search on the takingwork.com website you will only see reports that they are scammed or takingwork.com is a scam website and should be avoided.

Final words regarding parttimejobs.online

Though they are claiming that it is a FREE site and there is nothing to lose if you didn't receive a payment from them or not PLEASE DO TAKE EXTRA CAUTION ON YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION. Those information like your name, email address and full address can be used elsewhere or may be sold to a 3rd party website and one day you will just found out that it leaked elsewhere. Imagine this, if you are sharing this website to other people like your friends or family members and they signed up using your link and at the end of the day their information got compromised too then it is YOUR Accountability even though they joined with their own conviction that the website is good.

You have other alternatives to earn online and not being scammed. The first one is you can join the website called Steemit.com wherein you are paid to share your content. Though the earnings that you will get will depend on certain factors like you creating an awesome content, reputation, popularity etc. It has been one of the avenues not only for me but for other people to express themselves freely. Another one is via coins.ph by sharing your link to your friends and having them verify themselves up to level 2 you and your referral will get 50 pesos. There's a lot of tutorials already sharing how to earn by selling loads etc. on the website you can maximize that as well.

Plus other online jobs platform like Upwork and the likes.
