RE: The Holocaust: Israel's excuse
You are right, Pakistan wasn't even on my radar when I made that comment. Thanks for including the link in your post.

I used to think Israel was an oppressive nation and then I started to ask myself "How do other governments act in similar situations?"
My own country Canada faced a terrorist threat from the separatist PLQ after one kidnapping our very liberal prime minister Pierre Trudeau declared martial law throughout the country and rolled out the tanks. One of my friend's Dad went out to protest martial law and hand out PLQ literature, which was verboten, and was promptly arrested.
Compare that with this
From the Oslo Accords (Sept. 1993) until September 2000 - nearly 300 Israelis were killed in attacks.
During the Palestinian Al-Aqsa Intifada (Sept. 2000 - Dec. 2005) another 1,100 Israelis were killed.
Since December 2005, Palestinian terrorist attacks have claimed at least another 223 Israeli lives.

Any moral comparison between the actions of the Israelis and the actions of Islamic Supremacists (which the PLO/Fatah certainly are) shows the Arabs in a very bad light.
The evil deeds of any one camp do not justify or condone the evil deeds of their opponents. We can throw the USA in that infernal mix. Their actions have caused millions of death around the world. There are so many layers to this mess, another being the spread of the caliphate through the officially sanctioned invasion of the EU. The rule of corporations and banks over civilian governments. Not mentioning the erosion of privacy and free speech. One fine mess after another. We don't have enough lifetimes to fight all this injustice (not that it's an excuse not to)...
It is Sunday afternoon, so just a little lightness to close.
When your defending yourself from evil deeds violence is your right and is not evil.
Ever notice that Israel is not committing "evil" against Jordan or Egypt recently?
Ever considered that those who do not attack Israel have nothing to fear from Israel like the %20 of the Israeli population that is Arab and are more prosperous than Arabs in the surrounding area.
