Adding support for local development in Docker!
Progress continues on SteemLogs! Before our announcement on utopian, we are completing the workflow to make it easy for anyone to get involved. Just today we were tuning the settings to allow for local development with docker.
I realized something was wrong when I encountered a BAD CONNECTION (400) error, but we traced the source of the problem to the settings.py file, where we added localhost to the list of allowed hosts.
Now anyone can clone the repository here and, using docker, spin up the project locally. This makes it very easy to test and check changes before submitting pull requests or going live with new changes.
There is more to come with SteemLogs.Info! Follow us to keep up with all the exciting developments!
