Our New School Series: Lesson #1 How To Boost Your Posts Using MinnowBooster

We have decided to create a series of posts at approx. 1 per week to help our users learn about some of the fundamentals of Steemit and what to do and what not to do. We hope that users following this series that all follow our guide will start getting bigger valued posts, thus increasing exposure and in turn, following and number of upvotes.

We decided to start our first lesson with the subject of: How To Boost Your Posts Using MinnowBooster. This method will get you an instant increase in value of your posts and will also increase the exposure of your posts.

#1: Extra Exposure & Visibility for Your Posts

Steemit uses an algorithm to show "trending" and "hot" posts, here you will find the highest valued posts from Steemit in the relevant category. When there are low valued posts in particular categories you can actually have your post trending within that category with a small boost. This in turn will get real human eyeballs on your posts, thus increasing your chance of getting upvotes, followers etc. In some cases you may even find curator accounts upvoting your posts too!

#2: Tiny Little Profit

Using MinnowBooster will provide you with a tiny bit of profit on your boosts, for example: if you send $1 SBD then you would receive for example $1.3 SBD in upvotes (please be aware this is just an example and you must check MinnowBooster for actual profit %)

3 Simple Steps To Boost A Post Using MinnowBooster

1. You will need some SBD - you can either exchange Steem in the market or you can use blocktrades.io (buy Steem) button in your wallet to purchase SBD with either Steem or any other crypto currency like BTC, BCH, ETH.
