Accept your shortcomings, pick yourself up, and move forward.
I was once a victim of get-rich-quick investment schemes way back year 2017, but that did not stop me from pursuing my financial goals ONCE again. In fact, that became my anchor to learn things the RIGHT WAY. Ito din ang isa sa mga rason why my drive to spread financial awareness is still kicking til this very moment because I want to save other people from making the same mistakes I did.
This is the summary of my scam experience:

Just like you, I want to give a good life to my family. Just like you, I wanted the easy way out. And just like you, I make silly choices. I told you in one of my previous posts that my risk tolerance is high. So high that it caused me the biggest mistakes and the biggest lessons I can carry all my life. Yun nga lang, my understanding of the word "RISK" before is obviously WRONG.

Maraming nag message sa akin na mga scam victims sa mga recent get-rich quick investment schemes. I know na alam niyo kung ano ang mga scampanies na 'yon. I tell you, that will be your greatest motivation to learn more. And I am glad to know that some of them are now learning to cope up from their mistakes. In fact, may nag-aaral na nga din about stock market and forex investing.
As what I summarized in this page's "ABOUT ME", I am still a work in progress. I am not the typical financial advocate who learned everything from books, videos, seminars, etc. because a huge part of my financial wisdom came from my own experience.
Again, pursuing financial freedom isn't that easy. The process is rough. It is ugly. And right now, I am showing you the ugly side of it. You don't have to follow the pieces of advice I wrote on this page or in my blog (pinayteenvestor.com), but I want you to filter out the things you find helpful from the things you think are not.
We all make mistakes. Ang importante, you know how to accept your shortcomings, pick yourself up, and move forward. Hindi madali but I am willing to pay the price. I may not be there yet, but at least I am doing something to pursue my aspirations.
Before I end this, I want to encourage you to learn from other people's mistakes. Hindi niyo kailangan mascam para matuto. Save yourself, your family, and your friends from the possible financial exploitations ng mga scammers ngayon.
