Music Evolution: Rock
Let's talk a little about music, about how a genre evolves and how it is diluted over the years, evolving into what we now know as a trend, so let's talk a little about how rock has been modernized the date, from its beginning to its musical evolution to what today we can continue listening to as rock.
HISTORY
Rock was born after an interesting mix of different musical genres such as blues, country and gospel, among many others, all with the same in common, something to say, but in a stronger way, that is how it is known as the "Golden age" to the 1950s in the United States and then in 1960 in the United Kingdom.
Rock also worked as part of the American and English culture of those years, generating trends or lifestyles as hippie, or punk a few years later, at that time nobody knew that this would be so big, but even It was a fundamental part of the sexual revolution.

Punk
Known as one of the most important movements in rock for giving rise to what today represents rock, rebellion, the punk movement was the most rebellious and anarchic movement known to date, going against the system and many other things It was the main thing out of the musical.
Punk bands were known for the simplicity of the music, simple melody and even simpler harmony, they only reached 4 chords, but this did not matter, what was really important in this genre was the message that the song gave, the protest, almost all the songs speak of going against the system and breaking the rules.
Pop Rock
A combination that unites the best of two worlds, or at least that's what many people think, others say that this is the worst thing that the music industry could do at the moment, it is up to each one to take an opinion of these two, In my opinion it is an evolution more of rock music, and more importantly important for today's music.
Having the lyrics and melodies of pop music with the basic elements of rock, such as guitars with distortion, and very strong drums, I create a lot of important music for the music industry and more important for the history of rock worldwide.
Indie Rock
Being the most current evolution of rock, combined with much of the movement "Do it yourself" is diluted among many things to say and a lot of pop and country music, many synthesizers often combined with acoustic instruments.
There is an incredible amount of important bands in this genre or evolution of rock music that does not do more than grow every day, wanting to use many elements of rock and pop music of the 80's allows these bands to have a very characteristic sound, the which seems to me the same sound of the years 70 and 80 but with better sound quality due to the evolution of the music industry.
