Since the beginning of existence especially for Western culture, you have not said that the forbidden is tempting, let's see; from the Bible when Adam is prohibited from consuming the forbidden fruit. It seems as if the forbidden is covered with an aura of attraction. In the end it is an almost natural manifestation, that we have people for killing curiosity and for conquering freedom.

Our condition is to say; humans. It puts us in a halo of freedom to consume those of which we are being denied. Be it any consumer milestone. Example of it; If you have a pantry full of beautiful and rich chocolates, and you tell the child you can eat all but this one, the child will do everything possible to eat that precisely that is being denied.

All human societies consume some substance of those that today we call drugs. They mostly come from traditional cultures. Some are alcohol, coffee, chocolate, coca, hallucinogenic mushrooms, marijuana, opium, tobacco.
