Few days ago, I had a dream about the rapture. In that dream, everything looked so real in that I thought it was happening real. I remember someone telling me in the dream that the rapture has occurred. And I was like, does that mean we’ve been left behind?
And after that, I woke up. When I woke up, I thought the rapture had really occurred and I was so afraid because I know what it means to be left behind.
The Rapture will take place one of these days not so far. It may be a Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday or even on Sunday. It will be like the normal days when people go to work, school. And suddenly a trumpet shall blast from heaven, at that moment we shall all see Jesus in the sky.
The sad news is that when that happens, some people will be caught up to be with Jesus while some others will be left behind. The pain of being left behind is unthinkable.
The Bible says
Then shall two be in the field, the one shall be taken, and the other left. Two women shall be grinding at the mill, the one shall be taken, and the other left. Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come. Matthew 24:40-42
The greatest tragedy that can ever happen to someone is not to lose his or her Job, it is not to fail an exam or an interview. The greatest tragedy is to be left behind when Jesus comes. After all the struggles of life, it will be painful to be left behind.
As you are reading this, you know yourself, you know if you’re prepared. If you know you won’t make it when Jesus returns or if you breathe your last, pause this very minute, bow your head and pray this prayer and believe with your whole heart.
Lord Jesus, I know that I am a sinner and I Confess that only you can save me. I repent and turn away from my sinful way of life. Come into my life, change my life for good. I now make you the Lord and Saviour of My life today. Thank you for your grace and I believe that I am now saved. Above all, give me the grace to live a life that is pleasing to you. In Jesus Christ name. Amen.
