Whats your worth - $20 or $200,000 or more

There was a man who had a son living downtown in a village. One day the son asked his father a question saying " what is my worth" but the father replied " this question i shall answer".

The next day, the father gave him a precious stone and told him to take it to the market and just when u get there raise it up for people to see without saying a word when a person wants to buy and ask for the price just raise two(2) of your finger up.

 So the boy left for the market and when he reached the market he did as he was instructed by the father and a woman approached him and said i love this precious stone i must have it how much is but he raised up two of his fingers without saying a word and she said $20 i will have it.







 So the boy ran home and told his father that he has seen a buyer and the father said "do not sell it". And he said again go to the meseum and ask for the owner and show it to him and when he ask for the price do the same thing.








     So the boy ran off to the meseum and looked for the owner and was directed to him and he showed him and he said " where did u get such a precious stone i must have it" and asked for the price so he lifted two fingers as usual and he said $200 i must have it.









     So the boy ran off home again and told the father and he said do not sell it yet. U have one last place to go to.  He said go the precious stone makers and show it to them.









  Now he ran off as usual and found them and showed them the precious stone and they were amazed and asked him " where did u get this from i like this particular one i must have it" and asked for the price but as usual the boy raised two of his fingers up and he said $200,000 oh! I will have it.

But the boy ran home again and told the father and his father said now have i answered your question about your value and the buy said "No" and the father said

You see when u went to the market and meseum to sell this precious stone they offered u money not worth it because they did not know the worth but when u went to the precious stone makers they offered you something worth it.

   Now your value depends on the kind of friends and people u surround yourself with. So try to be with people that will value u and know your worth.
