Love is an illussion (English/Turkish)

Freddie Mercury, who inspired me to write this article, describes love as it old-fashioned word in the song called "Under Pressure. Is that really true? Even move the debate one step further; Is love real or is it an illusion?

The person we like to be together with, is who we will fall in love with. We do not even like her as much as others. All we need is a belief in something that will encourage us to take that step. And love is the strongest of beliefs in this world. We think that she can fit into the emotional gap in our minds that we are in love with. That space is an immaculate warm place that grows with your intelligence, your imagination. You will try to attract all of you, to show her all your tricks to influence it. But actually she is not that big enough to fill that void, nor are you aware that you are misguided. On the one hand, we think constantly she is the best for me. On the other hand, we think she is absolutely not the one. You feel angry at her because you think she has the divine powers in her inside and she does not use them.

If you look at it closer you can understand that person you think you are in love with is the most ordinary person in the world, entirely outside the meaning you have put to it. The person you ran after will remain in that comfortable place, in that comfortable place, as long as she feels good, and will never dare to enter. Because human ego will go beyond even your love, will make your love insignificant and use it as an ego-satisfaction medium.

Çünkü insan egosu, sevginin bile ötesine geçerek, aşkınızı önemsizleştirecek ve bunu bir ego tatmini aracı olarak kullanacaktır.
