Rather than consuming sugary snacks, you should choose healthy ones such as nuts, hard boiled eggs, string cheese, crackers and peanut butter, or other healthy treats filled with protein. By regularly eating these healthy snacks, you will not be distracted by hunger since you feel full and satisfied afterward.


Pack Your Own Lunch

If you have a habit of packing your own lunch to bring to work, then you should keep up with that. By making your own meals, you can modify the menu to suit your healthy lifestyle. Street foods or fast foods may tempt you, but your homemade meals are far better. You can also save calories and money when you bring your own healthy lunch. In other words, packed lunch is considered as the foundation of healthy habit at work.


Consider Your Water Intake

Sometimes people forget to eat or drink water when they are busy with work. They choose caffeine or cups of coffee to keep them awake instead of water. However, consuming caffeine will get you dehydrated which will make you easily agitated, hungry, irritable, and lose focus. Therefore, you should pay so much attention to your water intake to avoid dehydration. Keep a large water bottle at arm's’ length so that it can be easily reached when you feel thirsty. You can also add some fresh fruits for more flavors. Remember to always drink water regularly as this habit will help you much more alert at work.


Move Your Body

Did you know that sitting at your desk all day will cause many health issues? Again, no matter how busy you are, you should spare some times to get up from your desk and move your body. You can walk several times throughout the day or you can also walk outside to enjoy some fresh air after having lunch. If you constantly move your muscles, you will feel more energized and make your body fit in return.
