Bharathi's Style Lemon Pie Recipe (Step by Step)
A cordial greeting dear friends of Steemit! In this opportunity I want to teach you step by step on how to prepare a delicious Lemon Pie in my style (Without Meringue and Without Eggs).
For the Lemon Pie Cookie Base:
-2 cups of Self-Rising Flour
-1 Cup of Sugar Glas (Pulverized)
-1 Cup (200 gr) of Margarine or Butter
For the Lemon Pie Filling:
-1/2 Cup of Lemon Juice
-2 Cans of Condensed Milk
Step 1
In a bowl add the Self-Rising Flour next to the Sugar Glas, then add the margarine preferably melted to make it easier to join with the flour and sugar. Continue to mix until you have a compact mass.
Step 2
Rub Margarine into the mold where the base of the Pie will go, then add and stretch the dough to the mold until it has a flat surface. Next, the whole dough is punctured with a fork, so that the dough is not inflated in the oven. Then it is taken to the pre-heated oven at a temperature of 180 ° C for 12 to 15 minutes until it is pre-cooked.
Step 3
While the Lemon Pie Cookie Base is pre-cooked, the Pie Fill is prepared, which consists of mixing the 2 cans of Condensed Milk with the Lemon Juice, until a homogenized mixture is obtained.
Step 4
Remove the base from the oven, and add the filling mixture evenly, then proceeds to take to the oven, leaving it for 5 to 10 minutes until the cookie is browned and the filling is compact without sticking to the finger when you touch it. Finally, the Lemon Pie is removed from the oven and once it is less hot it can be served. You can also let it cool in the fridge and serve it later.
