RE: Unethical behavior on the blockchain, and the big players defending it!
Who died and made you pope? Is this your attempt at calling the imaginary steem police? The blockchain allows it, so if you're so concerned buy a shitload of steem and flag what you see as unethical. Before you jump my shit, I just want to say while I'm not advocating this shit, calling out a front end dapp like @partiko makes you look well, silly, and ignorant. How are they responsible for maintaining integrity? Why have you singled out such a well liked and appreciated part of the blockchain ? I assure you this will backfire, oh yeah I think you're the same person that I saw flagging pics of nudes bc you see yourself as the keeper of morality lol.. Get a life

I claimed the title as a joke. I am not arguing from personal authority, but from a consistant position of ethics. No one is above criticism, and I mention @partiko because I have had an extensive argument with that user. What specific part of my post offends your sensibilities? Cut the sophistry and start arguing without fallacious nonsense. I was flagging people for spam and plagiarism, and only tangentially for porn because that is what I found people spamming and plagiarizing.
My sensibilities aren't offended, and I wouldn't call my pointing out that ethics aren't applicable in an ecosystem of economics built on the principles that the strong can eat the weak and all is fair in the love and war of anarcho capitalism as deceptive or false..Clearly, this is a personal issue more than anything between you and I assume the creator of partiko.
I don't think it benefits any spammers to hide in NSFW as you claim, it's a bit of a contradiction and furthermore it's a tiny segment of the rewards pool compared to others. I can't stand chbartist self help garbage but if they choose to work this system to obsessively appear in trending and profit we must accept the flawed game we signed up for.
Look, I appreciate that you're interested in the future of steem and want ethical behavior to be rewarded but your points are moot as there is nothing pursuant being that nobody is doing anything not maintained and supported by this blockchain. Maybe it's destined to collapse under the weight of its absurdity, perhaps it's a sophisticated scam that only a handful of people are aware of. The important thing is its an infantile experiment and malleable so long as the stakeholders have faith that the system can correct itself with the implementation of a more evolved economic incentive formula.. For now it's bidbots and witnesses we can choose to trust or not..
Yes, the biggest flaw of Steem is the tragedy of the commons scenario its distribution system creates. But we have the choice to remain silent about abuse, participate in the abuse, or speak out. I chose option 3.
Option 4 figure out how to do more than speak out, I'm sure if enough people collectively demand change and throw money at a solution things will be adjusted appropriately... Speaking out is effective with action and leverage but fortunately you're free to use your RC as you please..maybe someone with power will listen, but being that they're all in bed with freedom the anonymous investor any changes that attempt to rock the boat will be difficult to say the least.
