Hello steemians! Starting today I will share my coffee expertise to you by telling the stories of our coffee. I will share one coffee per day. I will do this because as a Global Coffee Master it is my responsibility to educate everyone about coffee especially coffee lovers and of course to showcase our products. Upon reading this blog, you will discover the "behind the scenes" of each coffee that I will introduce. As a Filipino I will start this coffee journey with a coffee embedded with Philippine coffee beans, steemians, meet "Starbucks Kape Vinta Blend!

Starbucks Kape Vinta Blend is only available in Philippine market. This is a blend of coffees from the Asia/Pacific region, including coffee from the Philippines (Cotabato City). This coffee is full-bodied and mellow with earthy flavors and categorized as medium-roast coffee. This coffee has undergone with washed (wet) and semi-washed processing methods. If you want to know more about coffee processing methods just follow me and I will discuss it on my upcoming blogs. Smelling the aroma of this coffee is like bringing you in a rain forest. Imagine that feeling. Imagine that smell. That's what "earthy flavor" means. Now, there's always a secret in drinking coffee. In order to appreciate its full flavor, you should do food pairings. Not all of us are pure coffee drinkers and by using food pairings you can tone down the body of the coffee and emphasize its flavor. With this coffee, it is best complementing with chocolate, nuts and cinnamon flavors.

Starbucks Kape Vinta Blend was created for the opening of the Philippine market in late 1997. To give a local look to the coffee packaging, renowned Filipino artist Mauro "Malang" Santos designed the Kape Vinta Blend stamp, which features a vinta, the boat of the southern Philippines with the brilliantly colored sail.

Hope that with this short description of my coffee, you were enticed and acquired some coffee knowledge. Coffee is amazing to all the people surrounding it. It is one source of income, friendship, partnership and humanity. Thank you steemians and see you on #2nd Day Coffee Journey.

Wow. Didn’t know that chocolate has an impact with the flavor of the coffee. Ganun pala yun. Hehe I like this. Very informative. Plus its about coffee. 😊

Yes @czera.. All coffees have complementary flavors.. The reason is they have a very good skill in absorbing nutrients/flavors from the soil they are planted. For example if the coffee farm was near by distance to another farm like cocoa farm or any fruit farms something like that, the coffee's flavor will vary from it. Another factors are the processing method, roasting process and weather condition of the coffee region.. :)
