Many of the heroes in our history whom we have met have made great sacrifices for our people and have sometimes risked their lives to achieve the independence of our country in ancient times.

Andres Bonifacio, Emilio Jacinto, Apolinario Mabini, and Gat Jose Rizal are examples of heroes we have met in our history. They fought with courage and dignity only to gain the freedom of our people from the hands of foreigners. They are the real reason why the freedom and culture of the Filipino people are alive.

We as young Filipinos can do heroism in a simple way.

But in the meantime, do we still have to make so great a sacrifice that we can be called heroes?

It is not necessary to torture ourselves in order to do good to others.

Even in a simple way, we can consider that as an act of heroism. What matters to us is caring, humility, and helping one another.

We give our neighbors comfort and hope that we can do good from our heart in a simple way.

We see all around us great examples of heroism in our community.

The police serve as the traffic watchdog and provide protection to the people against evil. Doctors and nurses daily support and provide relief to the sick. Teachers who teach students valuable knowledge and lessons.

They are examples of new heroes in our modern-day. They are roaming and sacrificing just to fulfill the duties of our community. They help to provide order and development to our community.

We as young Filipinos can do heroism in a simple way.

We must work hard in our studies to fulfill our dreams. We should be active in our community such as cleaning our surroundings and helping the poor.

Heroism as a Filipino is important because it is a symbol of unending strength and determination to face the challenges of life.

Heroism is an important trait that helps to inspire and benefit our fellow Filipinos.
