Herdsmen attacks in Benue state of Nigeria

Today on naija news on steemit is on the recent attacks of herdsmen in Benue state.

A set in Nigeria known as fulani herdsmens whose occupation is rearing of cattles has been attacking different part of the country for sometimes now and has been a thing of concern to Nigerians because of the havoc they are causing to peoples lives and properties.

Sometime back there was a mass burial of people killed by this set in this still Benue state.

In recent time they have been another fresh attack in the state despite the operation of some soldier sent by the president to address the attacks.

The news have it that they have been attack in the riverian of the state which the said set chase a particular community out of their land and tookover the land leaving them to be refugees.

Another attack happened in omusu village i okpokwu local government of the state where about 26peoples were killed including women and children and many injured.

The governor of the state samuel ortom had earlier planned another mass burial for the recent killed people for next week but has been postponed because of the president visit to the state that same week.

Nigeria is a great country
I believe in Nigeria despite what it may look like now.
