Was it just the site because the name steemitnews.net sounded too much like an official steemit site? Steem alone is better?
Yes, we were concerned that it sounded too much like a Steemit Inc effort, plus the trademark infringement concerns. Steem is okay though, and still sufficiently identifies us... at least that's what we were thinking at the time!
