Steem Monsters 1500 SBD Fantasy Writing Contest Winners and Finalists!

The Steem Monsters team spent the last week reading through all the writing team's submissions to determine who the finalists are for each Splinter!

There are 6 Splinter groups based on their Elemental Color:
Red, Blue, Green, White, Black, and Gold (recently changed to purple).

Each Splinter group will have a winning writing team and that team will be awarded 250 SBD!

So far, we have selected 2 winners!
One for the Gold team and one for the Green Team.
We have selected the finalists for the other splinter groups as well!

These two did an exceptional job and simply blew us away in terms of quality, organization, and a thought out template. There were many wonderful submissions. This stood out as the best of all of them. Aggroed has been in touch and they are now working on putting together the next round of the contest.

The Gold Splinter has some plot elements that make it so that we couldn't quite share this with everyone. As a result we only had one team submit and there were eyes from the Steem Monsters team on this one. They didn't have competition, but they still brought their A-game and we're excited by their performance.

This week the winners in each Splinter will be announced and teams will complete their campaigns if things are deemed missing.
@aggroed, @chrisroberts, and @carrieallen are working on a final table of contents that each splinter will need in order to complete their campaign submissions.
The table of contents will include some additions like bios, an introduction to the splinter, and some flavor parts.

For teams that didn't win, but were selected as finalists participants will be invited to contribute to the document as a whole either as a member of a specific team or work throughout the document to add in missing details.

Next up

After we've finished the updated and finalized table of contents we'll start round 2. That will include merging of these stories and the melding of each splinter's timelines to create interaction between the splinter groups as well as overall cohesiveness.

There's a few writing components but it's much shorter than the first contest. Mostly we're just trying to make them all have similar parts while maintaining their own flavor.

We should have the finalized ToC in the next 48hrs or so and we'll let everyone know who won the remaining splinters and next steps in more detail.
