STEEMMONSTERS - do the rules and mana changes alter the outcome of battles?
YES and NO..
YES in the case that you have to set up and rearrange your team in a clever way, but NO in the sense that it does not change what splinters are the most powerful ones...
still the death and aqua splinters are the most powerful ones.. as you can see from the recent leaderboard..
and still nobody is really victorious with my favored life splinter.. ;-)
and I actually can see no mana / rule combination where this would change as mana requirements are evenly distributed over all splinters and all monsters...
so looking forward to some possible modification at the end of this season...
