TOP 7 MOST POWERFUL CARDS IN STEEM MONSTERS!

I Hope you're all doing good. I'm new here at steemit and this is my first gaming blog. As an starter I list the top monsters in the game I'm hooked right now, @steemmonsters.
Without further ado, let's get started!

Here's the countdown to the Top 7 most powerful monsters in Steem Monster right now.

7. Spirit of the forest

ABILITIES (from left to right)

• Flying

Has an increased chance of evading Melee or Ranged attacks from Monsters who do not have the Flying ability.

• Snipe

Targets enemy Monsters with Ranged, Magic, or no attack that are not in the first position.

• Tank Heal

Restores a portion of the Monster in the first position's health each round.

• Protect

All friendly Monsters gain +2 Armor.

Dont be fooled by this nature-goddess looking monster, as she can wipe out your team's cards with her skills that is one of the best skill for supporting her ally.

If youre planning on winning, you should have an assassin on your cards that can snipe or attack her using stealth as she is best positioned on the backrow. But taking her down will not be easy as she has 8 HP, together with her first skill Flying, you will have a hard time killing her. She's also capable of damaging enemies even though she wasn't in the frontline as she was range attacker, also she has her second skill, snipe so watch out for your troops on the backline. And any tank would be happy keeping her by their side because of her third skill, the Tank Heal that can heal the frontrow monsters. And lastly, her fourth skill Protect, this skill is so powerful when it comes to team fight as it gives an extra armor to the whole team for added durability of the monsters in her team.

6. Elemental Phoenix

ABILITIES (from left to right).

• Flying

Has an increased chance of evading Melee or Ranged attacks from Monsters who do not have the Flying ability.

• Blast

Does additional damage to Monsters adjacent to the target Monster.

• Magic Reflect

When hit with Magic damage, does reduced Magic damage back to the attacker.

• Dodge

Has an increased chance of evading Melee or Ranged attacks.

This elemental being known for its captivating look and fiery body cannot be ignored.

With its agility, speed and damage it can knock your monster without taking any damage. Its first amd fourth skill Flying and Dodge allow this monster to evade attack from the non flying monster, only physical attacks as magical attacks arent going to miss. Its second skill Blast allow this monster to damage two enemies at one shot the main target and the monster in its back. And if youre thinking that this monster's weakness is magic attack just because the physical attack can miss then think again as its third skill Magic Reflect can return the magic damage to the attacker in a reduced damage.

5. Frost Giant

ABILITIES (from left to right)

• Shield

Reduced damage from Melee and Ranged attacks.

• Trample

When a Monster with Trample hits and kills its target, it will perform another attack on the next Monster on the enemy Team.

• Slow

Reduces the Speed of all enemy Monsters.

• Stun

When a Monster with Stun hits a target, it has a chance to stun the target causing it to skip its next turn.

The frost giant is as durable as its appearance.

Physical attackers will have a hard time in this giant as its first skill, Shield gives him a boost on defense against attacks from melee and range attacks. Its second skill, Trample can wipe an entire enemy as long as he kill him on each attack. He also has a debuff skill that reduce the enemies movement speed, Slow. Also its attack have a chance of stunning an enemy monters making it skip its attack for the next round. Along with some support that can heal him, this monster can endure lots of damage. Its only drawback is its speed, 1 at max, but overall this monster can be a stronghold on your team.

4. Lord of Darkness

ABILITIES (from left to right)

• Enrage

Has increased Melee attack and Speed when damaged.

• Stun

When a Monster with Stun hits a target, it has a chance to stun the target causing it to skip its next turn.

• Shield

Reduced damage from Melee and Ranged attacks.

• Retaliate

When hit with a Melee attack, Monsters with Retaliate have a chance of attacking their attacker.

We all know that darkness is one of the powerful elements in most of the games. And this one is the Lord of it, I'm sure youre getting what I mean.

With its durability and damage, this monster can carry its ally to victory. Unlike the frost giant that has a drawback, this monster doesn't have one, with its overpowered skills and a balanced stats this monster can become a tank and damage dealer at the same time. It's first skill, Enrage allow him to get a bonus damage when he got hurt. Shield, makes him a tanky one combined with retaliate makes a defense and offense possible at the same time. And also, this monster is the only one on this list to have an armor, it has 2 armor making it more durable to physical attacks.

3. CHROMATIC DRAGON

ABILITIES (from left to right)

• Flying

Has an increased chance of evading Melee or Ranged attacks from Monsters who do not have the Flying ability.

• Enrage

Has increased Melee attack and Speed when damaged.

• Piercing

If Melee or Ranged attack damage is in excess of the target's Armor, the remainder will damage the target's Health.

• Thorns

When hit with a Melee attack, does damage back to the attacker.

We all know that a dragon is a powerful mythical creature that can breath fire and wipe out a civilization in ancient time. It is often featured in many movies and books as Mighty and Legendary creature.

The Chromatic Dragon is as mighty and tough as that mythical creature except that it can't breath fire. This 5-headed dragon is a beast! You cant depend on attack from your melee and archer monster to get this monster tamed as he has a Flying ability that can dodge those attacks and if youre lucky to inflict damage using physical attacks he has his skill that makes him stronger everytime he receives a damage and Thorn that can give damage back to the attacker making him a truly formidable foe.

2. Sacred Unicorn

ABILITIES (from left to right)

• Heal

Restores a portion of the Monster's health each round.

• Piercing

If Melee or Ranged attack damage is in excess of the target's Armor, the remainder will damage the target's Health.

• Trample

When a Monster with Trample hits and kills its target, it will perform another attack on the next Monster on the enemy Team.

• Divine Shield

The first time the Monster takes damage it is ignored.

A childhood fantasy creature turns into an overpowered monster! Sacred Unicorn is the second most powerful monster in the steem monster world.

Its speed, damage, and HP makes it a killing machine monster that you should invest on levelling up. Its has a skill that can pierce through enemies armor, when the Sacred unicorn's damage exceed the enemies armor the remaining damage would pierce into enemies HP, that skill suits its eye catching horn. Trample, makes this monster an army killer! And what makes this monster a true monster is its ability to heal itself, unlike other monster that depends on shield, dodge and flying ability to minimize the damage they've taken, i think the healing ability is the most powerful one, getting a 2 HP on each round together with his ability to ignore the first damage he takes can prolong the match, and thus, can turn tides!

ABILITIES (from left to right)

• Heal

Restores a portion of the Monster's health each round.

• Thorns

When hit with a Melee attack, does damage back to the attacker.

• Retaliate

When hit with a Melee attack, Monsters with Retaliate have a chance of attacking their attacker.

• Trample

When a Monster with Trample hits and kills its target, it will perform another attack on the next Monster on the enemy Team.

As the name it implies, this monster is as mighty and powerful as the serpentine water monster in Greek and Roman mythology.

Its tanky nature of having a very high health (10 HP at max) this monster can wipe an entire group of enemy's monsters alone, a one-man team! Here is a video of an HYDRA wiping an entire enemy's monsters ALONE! Click here to watch .Beside from its high stats, its skills are also OVERPOWERED! Each round it can heal a percentage of its HP (usually 2 HP). Combined with its large amount of HP, it can withstand a long battle, makes it a good frontrow monster in every fight. Its second and third skill, retaliate and thorns can do damage to the attacker that means that this monster can do more than one attack each round, thats so f*cking sick! Lastly, its 4th skill Trample can double kill or even wipe the enemy's monsters as long as they're killed with the Hydra's attack.
