You may have heard the news from @steemmonsters that they came out with the ability to DELEGATE cards to other accounts. Go read about it here

Here's the main announcement about delegation from the post.
The feature is believed to allow new users a much less expensive way to be able to start playing quickly and cheaply. The cards may cost a fraction of the the cost of ownership for each month of play. Allowing new users ability to play in Gold/Diamond ranked and tournament games quickly.

FIRST SET OF CHANGES

These are just the changes we need to make because of the update to SteemMonsters code just to get our site up to date.

• We will need to add delegation buttons to https://peakmonsters.com
• We will also need to visually show which of your cards you've delegated and to whom
• We will also need to include cards that have been delegated to you and from whom
• We will need to upgrade the explorer to handle all the new steemmonsters transactions now happening
• Add filters for delegated cards
• We need to make sure purchasing packs is still working since there were some changes there as well.

OTHER FIXES/UPGRADES

• We are aware of the bug when inputting numbers (bids and listings) that makes it hard to put in a number unless you're really fast.
• We also have never done the info-details on Summoners so we want to do that.
• We will see if we can throw in value information in a release soon since that will come into play with the delegation market.
• We also have some upgrades to do to make our Profit Sharing system more kind for our long time users.
• We're also going to test using another node to see if we can up our limits on transactions previously it's been 2000 characters in a json transaction which limits us for example to 45 cards in a transaction. But we will see if another node can allow us to do a lot more.
• We also will look into a better mechanism for bulk selecting in order to bulk transfer/delegate dissimilar cards. We may wait to see what @yabapmatt has in store for "card sets" feature.

MARKET PREVIEW

Right now the ability to delegate has been enabled by @steemmonsters but there is no UI to facilitate renters / owners... so we're working on a market.

Benefits of a market:

• Ease of use
• Save time
• Allows owner to not have to be online when renter accepts a lease/contract
• Escrow ability because owners can stop a delegation at any time
• We can pay owner for each successful day of the lease
• Help owners and renters get a feel for the normal price of cards
• We can educate users with other information about the cards

Basically you will be able to give PeakMonsters authority to delegate to accounts that are willing to pay to rent a card from you.

Owner will be able to set the terms of contract

1. Daily Price (With UI ability to state weekly or monthly and we'll convert to daily)
2. Minimum days
3. (Optional) Maximum days
4. (Optional) This should be seen as an optional escrow fund for lease terminations that we believe will keep renters/owners incentivized to keep the leases going. The larger the amount is the more stability you can expect from this contract. The lower this is then there is less incentive to not just end the delegation when market prices change.

FUTURE DELEGATION FEATURE

If this goes well we can look at renting sets of cards and creating a feature where a renter can state what they're looking for. But we'll start with the first step first.
