These were some of the building blocks before some of the much bigger features we have coming out soon.
NEW DEFAULT SORTING - BCX
- We have changed the default sorting method to BCX price average.
- We feel that it is our most beneficial sorting method for our users.
- You can change it to the one you use the most
STEEMMONSTERS ID# = The old default
You may still go in and select which sorting method you'd like to use.
BCX EDUCATION

It's our job to keep new buyers and sellers well informed what things mean.
It stands for "Base Card Unit by XP"
These cards are unique because you can combine multiple to level up your monster. The BCX number Represents each base ("level one") card used.
SELLING EDUCATION
On that note of education we feel it is important to disclose what is happening when a seller lists a card through our site (or any site presently)... we just want sellers to be aware and it's up to them to price according to what they want to receive.

Now you can see your BCX for every card you have.
FILTER AMOUNTS
One of the coolest features is the filter amount

This is great, @peakmonsters. Thanks for all these updates. I've started talking about ratios now. My own collection is currently at 2.44:1, while the screenshot here by @mattclarke shows a similar ratio of 2.32:1. @jarvie's collection in the screenshot above is 1.94:1. What this means is that for every individual card in a collection, there are an average of so many cards combined into it. My 2.44:1 ratio means that I have an average of 2.44 cards combined for every one card in my collection. Does that sound like a useful metric at all? It's simple to calculate, just dividing the BCX number by the number of cards reported by SteemMonsters itself.

Hi, @peakmonsters. Doesn't the explorer show cards in pack purchases anymore? (it used to do before...) I finally managed to get my starter pack earlier today and wanted to check what's inside, but the explorer didn't show me. From browsing other people's packs, it seems the explorer shows the cards when I use the "Open Packs" filter. But it seems starter packs can't be opened... or at least, the Steem Monsters website didn't give me the option to open it, and it looks like the cards are already mixed with the others in my collection, because my total number of cards has increased.
