Top 10 @steemmonsters leaderboard win% updated: December 1st, 2018
What's the current win percent
of the current Top 10 @steemmonsters players?
Greetings!
Hello again, everyone. Welcome to yet another update of the current Top 10 @steemmonsters leaderboard win percentage for Season 3. There's been a fair amount of shake-up in the top players, showing that mobility is quite good if you can get a win streak going *(which, however can be quite difficult in the new gameplay style!)*As battling is ongoing, I had to arbitrarily snapshot this to make the calculations. I took the screenshot at around 4:30 a.m. UTC time on December 1st, 2018. Here it is:
Let's see the win percentages:
Player Name | Total Games | Wins | Percentage |
---|---|---|---|
@glory7 | 174 | 142 | 81.6% |
@d-pend | 420 | 289 | 68.8% |
@ramires | 373 | 266 | 71.3% |
@clove71 | 912 | 577 | 63.3% |
@holoz0r | 248 | 163 | 65.7% |
@damper | 341 | 222 | 65.1% |
@marabara | 483 | 287 | 59.4% |
@clayboyn | 191 | 138 | 72.3% |
@fenrir78 | 186 | 129 | 69.4% |
@imperfect-one | 400 | 236 | 59.0% |
Now the first players are reaching Diamond League, where win streak is no longer applied. It will most likely take until near the very end of the season for a few players to reach Champion I. The win percentages are leveling out a bit: the lowest win rate in the Top 10 was 59%, and the highest was 81.6%. Half the players fell in the mid-to-upper sixties.
These stats are intended to raise questions and stimulate discussion. Right now, win percentage in and of itself is somewhat irrelevant to the @steemmonsters ranking. For the most part, playing as many games as possible is rewarded (with at least a ~60% win rate.) It's also a viable strategy (currently) to stop playing when you reach the top and let others pass you so you can more easily progress. What do you think: should win percentage factor into the game's rewards and/or system of ranking? If so, do you have any specific ideas about how this could be implemented?
Steem Monsters is a game that's still quite new in its beta stage. Why not weigh in with your opinion in the Community Discord at this link?
