So how many DEC can I earn daily?

The DEC award calculation is complicated math, that I do not understand. In a nutshell, every day you get an "energy capture rate", which starts at 100% but goes down as you collect, and when you win, your rank and this rate will be used to calculate your DEC payout.

On average I receive approximately 40-60 DEC per victory. And I play probably between 20-40 games a day, winning the majority but certainly not all of those.

As a result, I earn approximately 1,000 to 2,000 DEC per day, across two accounts. And this is assuming I don't participate successfully in one of the free to play tournaments put on daily which reward players with additional DEC also.

Just now I earned 2,000 free DEC by finishing in the top 16 of a tournament!

2,000 Steem can be sold for approximately 13 Steem!

Does that shock you? It sure shocked me.
