I think the summoners are good bets because everyone needs them to play. If you don't know the monsters it's hard to guess which ones will be useful or popular.

I'm not sure yet if it's better to buy lots of low levels, or fewer high level cards even for renting. Markets should open up next week. We'll get more sense then.
