RE: eSteem mobile app update - PUSH NOTIFICATIONS, BOOKMARKS for iOS and Android v1.1.6

in #steemmobile8 years ago

Notifications will be improved yes.
There is some occasions where app needs active or owner private key. And easier and convenient way for ordinary non-crypto user is to just use one password. App allows one to transfer fund and follow/unfollow, update account profile picture and many more features to come and I think keeping it simple with asking one password looks more feasible right now. I would like to know your opinion about it though, What are your thoughts? Password is always kept locally and it never sent to any third party servers. Transactions are created locally and signed locally and then broadcasted.

I can't give you my opinion since I can't login.
I'm a crypto guy (geek) I have mined my account.
I have never registered here on Steemit.com.
From the web interface I use my username and posting private key to login.
This doesn't happen from your app. Can't login.
