Staking LEO

Below is a chart that represents the daily movement of staking/unstaking of the LEO token.

02.jpg

Note
The first five days are excluded from the chart for better visibility. In those days there is a total of 1.6M tokens staked.

The LEO token has a great statistics on tokens staked. This trends still continues.

The chart for the last week looks like this.

03.jpg

Every day of the week is in net positive staking.

Here is the table.

Weekly DataLEO
Staked45,146
Unstaked20,082
Diference25,064

A total of 25,064 more LEO tokens staked last week. Even though there are some large beneficiaries from the airdop that are unstacking the numbers are great.

Below is the chart of the top 10 users that staked last week.

04.jpg

The no.1 is a @dtrade. He staked almost 6k LEO, after is @taskmaster4450, with around 5.5k LEO staked, then @trumpan with 3.5k staked.

Here is the overall chart on LEO tokens supply.

05.jpg

We can see that the staking is increasing over time, the liquid supply is going down. The burnt tokens also are taking a bigger share with the monthly burns showing the big drops. The sell wall is slowly disappearing.

Below is a chart of the ratio staked/unstaked tokens, excluding the sell wall that at the moment have around 1.4 M tokens.

06.jpg

90.3% tokens staked
The share of tokens staked remains around the 90%. This is a great result having in mind that every week there is more tokens rewarded but the LEO users are staking them.
It seems that the LEO token found a balance around the 90% staked since this number is stable for a month’s now.

Out of the current supply 3.98M tokens, 2.51 are staked, 1.2M are in the sell wall and 0,27M are liquid.

Burning LEO

Burning tokens is an important metric as in a way it is a anti inflationary measure and it shows the use cases for the token or sinks.

07.jpg

The vertical Y axis is on a logarithmic scale for better readability. In the period analyzed a total of 933k tokens were burned. The large share of this 900k tokens are due to sell wall burn, and the nopal4you account of 100k tokens.
The rest of 33k tokens are from the sinks for the LEO token and that is a nice number.
In the last week there was more burning because of the sell wall burning but also because of the LEODEX, that is burning LEO for listing on the exchange. Great one.

Steemleo Users

Steemleo is slowly growing and we are proud of every new user that comes to our platform. Bringing new users outside the Steem ecosystem is our priority.

Activities on Steemleo

Below is a char of the Steemleo activities, including posting and commenting from the Steemleo interface and posting and commenting with the Steemleo tag.

10.jpg

We can see that the majority of the posting still comes from other interfaces with the tag #steemleo, but there is a small increase in the last days on posts from steemleo.com

In the last period Steemleo is trying to incentivize users to post from the Steemleo interface rewarding authors who use the interface with vote from the @leo.voter.

The strategy seems to be working and there is more posts coming from Steemleo.com interface in the last days.

Great progress ;)

Is it possible to let outsiders comment by signing with common social media accounts: FB, twitter, Google similar to 3speak.online and groom them to onboard to Steem?

It would be even great to post with those social accounts and lure them to make Steem account to earn cryptos. Easier access will attract lots of onlookers.

I understand it will require some effort from devs to display off chain data (logged with other account) and on-chain data together.

Hi dtrade,
I think it’s a good idea to figure out ways to make it easier for users of other types of social media to post comments on Steemit. The ability to give feedback would encourage them to read articles here and interact. I see Steemleo has “imbedded” (proper word ? ) a widget : the streaming price chart, from another website, and wonder if a chat box from a site could also be imbedded. The chat box size has some adaptability with regards to size and might allow some interaction between a chat box on a Steemit users Facebook page and the Tribe front page. I will ask some developers if this can be done.
🤔

Good idea but I like the idea of forcing people to come to steemleo.com. I think you might not actually be bullish enough on Leo and Steemleo.com. Steemleo does not have the horrible leadership that Steem and Steemit.com has so I think we should give it a chance to see what happens. I think Leo and Steemleo.com will be doing quite a bit better 1 year from now. lol

I think Steem and Steemit.com had huge potential but diligently worked to limit and kill that potential. I have not seen that happening here on Steemleo.com and it seems like they are getting most everything right.

Congrats on your first place :)

Hey, my name is here! Nice!

Happy staking :)

It is a marathon and not a sprint.

Continual growth and progress is what counts. The key is to keep seeing expansion each week.

The numbers are looking solid considering there is very little overall growth on Steem. I think that, as long as LEO remains at the top of the list of tribes, any overall growth will see Steemleo capturing a share.

One thing we might want to consider is to have a couple comment days where a group of us targets a few different posts and load them up with comments.

Strive to get a bit more interaction going on.

Interaction is great and very important. Its what keeps the users here and engaged. Its a great idea.

Trying to come up with ideas. Maybe we will hit upon something.

I believe that is a new chart, top week Leo stakers...love it...great addition, if it's new. Look forward to your post on the monthly earners of Leo.

Thanks. The top leo stakers is quite new ... its a second week with it ....

Will do the top earners once the month is over :)

Thanks for the informative charts. From my point of view Leo is one of the best Tribes.

Thank you for posting from the https://steemleo.com interface 🦁

Hi @daltz
This is a very nice article and great graphs. Thank you for your continued efforts to provide clear numerical data and graphic representations. This is one of my favorite tribes, so it great that you follow it closely.
