MY ENTRY FOR THE STEEMJET MUSICAL CONTEST... A COVER OF ANDRA DAY'S RISE UP enjoy.

Hello People, I m really excited to be doing this cover of one of my favorite songs, it is an accapella and I hope that it is accepted. I am a very shy singer that has decided to take advantage of the steemit platform, by doing cover songs which has really helped in boosting my self-confidence. I m not perfect as a matter of fact I improve everyday. This contest means a whole lot to me. I want to say a big thank you to the Steemjet team for organizing this contest and special to @dimimp for sponsoring such a divine contest, for his love for the youth and creativity.

I chose this song because I totally relate to it, when ever I feel the wall closing in on me, this song is what gives me hope to fight back and keep fighting back. It's a song of hope. Meanwhile Andra day has a very heart melting vocal and I love her.
