WHAT I CAN DO TO PROMOTE STEEM

The following three points will emphasize in details what I can do to promote steem.

1. Social medias:
   Social media is one of the best way to promote steem because of many people are signed in to these medias.
   Statistically speaking, as at September 2017, Instagram had about 800 million active users. So talking about steem in such media is a very realistic way of promoting steem.
   Facebook is another media that can be beneficial in the production of steem. It also have a lot of users which are ready to key in to innovative ideas and steem is no doubt a coin that can be vouch for.
   There are also other social medias that can be used; Such as watsapp, twitter, to mention a few.

2. YOUTUBE:
   Youtube has become one of the most popular search engine for finding fresh content and as such, it is also another avenue that I can use for the promotion of steem.
   How can I actualize this you may ask?
   Well, I can do this by creating a branded channel on youtube and upload many video that lecture people on steem and its benefits. I will also make use the opportunity to introduce the steemit platform to my viewer and make them understand that they can get free steem when they upload quality content that is beneficial to others.

3. RUN A CONTEST:
   Pardon me, but I will also like to copy or replicate what the steemjetcontests crew are already doing. That is, running a contest. This I must say is also a nice way to promote steem. The only drawback about this approach is that it is beneficial for only those already signed in to the steemit platform. But looking at it from a balanced perspective, the approach can also get to wide range of people.
   One advantage of running a contest is that it attracts more people to the platform and from there they can also tell friend and enemies about it.

4. Through pop ups.
   Most people do not explore this approach, but based on research carried out by my humble self, pop ups is another beautiful way in which I can use for the promotion of steem.
   Pop up is like the placard for website. It makes visitors explore the website with more curiosity and willingness and by outlining the advantage of steem through this avenue, visitors will want to delvetr deeper.

5. Through meet-up and handout:
   This is another way I can use for the promotion of steem. Organizing a meetup can go a very long way because it give both you and your listener the opportunity to interact with eachother. Of course they will be a lot of questions raised about steem and if they are conviced with the answers, they will definitely pick interest in it and also tell other.
