NIGHT
Disposed as quiet and calm
Whistling leaves
Cohered yet severed palms
The white of the night sky
Severed at day cluster too
Night
Academics sizzle
Boards creak
Sounds hushed
The toil of the day takes its lag
Obvious in points of light and calmness of sleep
Night
Half of the day
Moment of appearance
For the night visitors
They feast all night
On unconscious exposed molded clay
Night
Creatures sleep
Spirits gatherOdd shapes totter and tattle
They billow in like the breeze
Chilling unsuspecting, unprepared souls
Night
A soul sleeps
Revelling in fantasy
Drifting to the Unknown
The fog descends hard
