STEEMJET CONTEST:(writing contest) how can i promote steem

This is my entry to the steemjet contest.

I came across this contest a day ago but i have had this ideas and more for some time now.

Below are the few steps i would take to promote STEEM if given the oppoturnity to: y

                     TARGET AUDIENCE

Yes steem is open to everyone but you cant imagine me trying to promote steem to an elderly man/woman who finds it really hard to operate his/her smart phone ,therefore certain group of people should be approached or targeted, moreso we know there are influential persons or group in every community both ( online and offline) such individuals or groups should be penetrated.

                        MARKETING STRATEGY

various marketing strategies would be employed at this both online and offline such as viral marketing, social media ,paid media advertising,word of mouth and co-branding.
The co-branding will play a vital role therefore the co-brand will be a brand that has gained the loyalty and trust of the people be it online or offline .

                  EVENT SPONSORSHIP

Organising and sponsoring of events and competitions both offline and online with the price been in steem, also taking the event sponsorship to the education sector by designing or organising competition for high school or university students where registration,particpation or submission will be through the block chain system and the price money in steem .

                       THE ROUND TABLE

Lastly after gathering members from far and near there should be a system put in place to help all members meet so they could help themselves and bring in new ideas to help grow the community.
The round table would also serve as a feedback medium to receive all complaints and remarks.
