Walk over the waterfall

Hiking ecotourism in Bulgaria is very popular. Ecological paths here are visible and invisible - nature has. The most famous and most beautiful ecotropic is the Seven Rila Lakes. but I want to show the one closer to Sofia.

If you move away from Sofia towards Varna for only 50 km along the beautiful Iskarsko defile, then the first pedestrian quest for tourists will be the Vazov tourist ecotropic. It is named after the great Bulgarian writer Ivan Vazov.
This is an obelisk in the upper parking lot in the village of Zasele in honor of the fallen villagers in World War II. On the obelisk poems by Ivan Vazov.

Below is the village of Bov.

The ecological trail of Vazov.

The Vazova Ecopekta ecological trail is a two-hour walk on average, from bottom to top or vice versa - as you like. If you like to walk, you can come to the village of "Gara Bov", leave your car there and go on foot along the VAZ path between meadows, rocks, through caves and under the Zaselsky waterfall, and finally climb to the very top of the village " Settled "(596 meters above sea level) and the beginning of the waterfall.

And you can do as lazy as we do: from the village of "Bov" go upstairs by car, leave the car at the cafe and from there go downhill as much as you can, so that it would not be difficult then to get back to the car.

Arbor for rest.

A future waterfall runs out from under this bridge.

Zaselsky Waterfall. Falls down.

The nature here is extraordinary, the views are fascinating. I show only those photos that were taken above, what tourists see when going up here, in general, looks like a fairy tale; scary in places, and beautiful in places. It is not in vain that the Balkans Vrachan (mountains) is considered a natural landmark of national importance (and is protected!)

Waterfall from the opposite side. "Zaselsky" waterfall is also called "Bowska Skaklya" - it has a height of 85 meters. In winter, it turns into a magnificent ice waterfall on which climbers climb.

And this I came closer and climbed over the fence - I nearly died of fear!)) So high there.

Here the trail descends steeply down and leads to a stone monument to one blind man - the hero of the work of Ivan Vazov, other beauties, benches and caves.

This tourist route was officially opened in 2007. Then it was equipped with benches, arbors, lanterns and handrails. Walking comfortably and not scary.

Vazova's eco-experience is good at any time of the year - there is always available and there is something to see, even in winter, even in summer - anytime.

End parking is equipped with free parking, toilets and restaurants.

Entrance to the ecotropic is completely free. The only requirement is not to litter and not to jump from the chipped down.

Thank you for your time and attention.
