Find Out Who Are Your Top Voters In The Last 30 Days And Why I Finally Started Flagging Some Accounts - SteemReports ToolssteemCreated with Sketch.

in #steemittools7 years ago (edited)

Usually, I am not really interested that much who votes for me, rarely use tools to get reports but once in a while I am curious who are my biggest supporters or not :) and use various helpful tools such as SteemReports.

Visit @steemreports for more information

Share your results with me in your comments. I would really like to see them.

Just in case I can't find your name on my list I just take you off my autovoting bot.

Just kidding!

You could also find out your percentage of Self Votes to keep yourself and also others in control, to make sure you are fair enough towards our community. I discovered quite a few who vote way too much for themselves, even justify their "scams". (I choose not to mention their names).

I found my own percentage a bit high with 13.5% last week. I do not see that many whales on my account, so I take advantage of my dolphin status and believe its more than ok to do so. I mostly up-vote my own articles to help them a little, I also pay for @randowhale even though I wish I would not need this but I do.

I am not a superstar:), so I still take advantage for a few little boosts.

Past 3!!! days, I didn't vote much because I found myself with very low VP=Voting power once again and I find this quite annoying that I have to wait way too long to fill up again. No wonder why the voting count goes down so much for all of us. I used to be so spontaneous and admit that I was also reading more posts. I am getting a bit lazy to scroll through all articles, knowing I can't even vote as I would love to.Keep on sending your links to my "Mammasittas Steemit channel" You are more than welcome to join it but please do not be upset if I don't always reply.

Please take my apology if I am not supporting as much as I would like to.

While I am forced to wait, I end up trading more, buy more steem ( yes, you heard right), arrange my digital wallets, play around with some tools and share with you.

I am sure some of our new members might find my results and the summery of options quite helpful.

Here is a list of reports you get:

1) Open Mic Music Charts and play all songs!

How cool is that!

2) Witness Voters Summary (updated weekly on Sunday)

3) Transfers Info

Voting & Flag Info

Flagging is your right!

I never flagged anybody since I joined but recently I did "smash" a disgusting teen & childporn account and a few others I truly think should not be a part of steemit because those accounts seem to damage our community. By flagging, you can help to keep problems at a minimum, to catch serious problems and let others, especially our witnesses know something might be wrong.

Don't hesitate but use your flags wisely. I don't mean to "play " police but sometimes I really believe its necessary.

We need to speak up to protect ourselves from sleazy people.

Yeah (sadly) flagging abuse/spam does matter. There's no "they" to clean up anything on Steemit... WE are the "they" who get to clean up messes... the community.

I realized recently that I don't get around to my followers nearly as much as I'd like because I am too busy "actively hosting" my own posts. I have always believed in engagement and interaction... which actually can take a good bit of time (and voting power) if you have 30-40 people commenting.

Its our !!! responsibility to cover up those scammers!
I feel like you, I mostly give good votes for all people who comment on my posts, I also try to reply to most of them but I don't have much time left to explore new people. I might follow too many and maybe should find a better way to manage my interactions. I'm a bit confused these days.....

I follow 400+ people-- and that's only 1/4 as many as are following me-- and I still don't have time enough. Looking at Steemcharts, I've only voted on about half in the past 2 weeks.

I am starting a different approach... using a series of browser bookmark folders to organize the people I follow-- I can't rely on seeing things in my feed (since people are all over the world, in different time zones) and it takes too long to click from my "following" list. Still working on it... might write a post about it WHEN/IF I get it up and running... and it seems to actually work.

Hey buddy.

The big issue for people (like myself) who put out ~5 blogs / day, that is ~150 blogs a month and that means we vote for our own blogs upon publishing.

For the self vote stats, without this clarification, it makes some people look worse than it is especially for those who publish a lot, help others a lot and curate a lot.

I don't know how else to say it. Not everyone takes that into account.

I hope you are well @denmarkguy.

@drakos is doing a good job as a witness, he is not in the top, so you have to type his accountname into the filed at the bottom.

Yepyep, I also started to use my downvotes. Some bot spam network some days ago, many of them, many comments, and a lot of Steemians supporting to get the rewards and reps down to nothing. Also this thing ongoing with Hollywood Blockbusters uploads to DTube and publishing on Steemit bugs me, so done some work on that side and got some super flaggers in, but today some other super flaggers turned their flag around and gave some super upvotes since they are ok with what is happening. Well, lets see when Hollywood producers realise what is happening with their works and the game begins, or better said, it may get to game over.

I will check him out! I trust you on this :) and I also saw all your awesome articles . It's time to help together to take those people down who damage our community.

here is another good tool I just found :
http://steemit.serviceuptime.net/check_vote_value.php

Drakos is very active in fighting the bad and very active in price as well. He gave him a witnesses vote the other day after some p2p chat with QA from my side.He passed :)

Cool tool. This one is also nice: http://steemit.serviceuptime.net/mute.php

Agreed, @drakos is doing a top job!

I like this kind of apps, especially for active members, those apps can help to improve their blog.
I guess soon we will have some big accounts specialized for flagging
(based on algorithm to protect steem from inappropriate material)
till then people should signal if they see a post that may insult other members.

I searched for improving mine and to see who actually supports me. I always like to "payback" in my own ways, so yes, this tool is great.

I am glad to hear that I am not the only one with those thoughts and action in effect regarding flags.

Thanks for sharing your tools. @mammasitta. Very funny joke :)

An excellent thought provoking article @mammasitta and I had no idea one can see those kind of analytics. I'm not on that long list of yours, but I'm now going to concentrate all of my votes on your comments section, just so I can get my foot on the ladder and work my way up. You know I'm joking!! ;-D

Yes this was really helpful, interesting data that is useful also to find the people that always visit and upvote.
I'm not sure how long to wait to the power to increase for voting, but I'm a minnow and my voting does not give much anyway so I haven't thought to much about that. But it's great to now and consider.
Thanks for your great tips here:-)

This is the first post of yours I've read--thanks for the stats tool, I didn't know about that before. Followed!

i didn't see my name :( BTW thanks for telling about this tool

Nice tool @mammasitta I hear about it for the first time,Thank you for sharing.

As you, I never flagged anybody here, but in the last month I flagged the distusting childporn account. I'm still shocked to find people like that disgusting person here, but the community answered to this using many flags and so I'm happy to stay in a community that hate these horrible people. I flagged also other people who damage community (copycats, scammers, etc) because we users are the only ones who can help this community to stay "clean". It's our responsability.
