WORLD PEACE---IT IS POSSIBLE>>>Advocating World Peace in all the worn-torn countries<<< (#steemitschoolpoetry 100 Day challenge---Day #1)
On a daily basis it subsides and rises,
Everyone for himself the sole problem,
As the world degenerate with gory emblem
We need to work and ensure the harmony increase,
Hand in hand and make the disharmony decrease,
We trudge along the path of self-destruction,
As we enjoy the peace of self-infliction
The world riven and berserk,
Myriad countries with fierce killing and ransack
How can we live if not in harmony?
Allow peace to reign, that is the potency
Can’t we lay our arms and embrace peace,
Peace to live with one another and allow evil to cease,
It is not rocket science as people foment the act,
Violence-an integral part of us---a tacit pact
Live and let live as the world moves,
We can live together as research proves,
Accommodating ourselves despite the foibles—the advocate,
As we trod the path of peace---others will replicate
What motivated me to write this poem is borne of the consciousness of the ravaging war that is besetting the world. However, it only takes just a determination to stay riveted with peace that will surmount the raging war in different parts of the world. it is disheartening and that informed my use of banal language that is penetrable to the rank and file of poetic lovers. I believe we can live in harmony but we need to accommodate ourselves and we will observe a considerable change in all facets

I really appreciate this opportunity to join in the act as i am sure that this will open immense opportunity for me hereafter. I really consider myself as an intermediate poet but I tend to change at my whims and caprices accept.
