RE: The Best Way To Raise The Steemit Level And The Value Of Steem And Steem Dollars - Steemit School Supports All Users

in #steemitschool6 years ago (edited)

new users to become successful and earn a minimum of $ 300 per month

That is not realistic. Most of the new (and not new) users simply have nothing to offer to the community, and those who do have something can stay unnoticed for years. Thus tons of shit, spam and abuse that flood the network.

I did invest (at the point above 4$ which was a terrible fucking mistake, as I now see) but before that I barely made 200$ from scratch in 2 months and it's mostly due to being noticed by @curie team.
I honestly see no way out of this situation when whales have all the power (and actively abuse it, see @haejin and the likes) and minnows barely see any growth and profit at all.
And more new users mean worsening this situation to the point where it's nearly impossible to find anything of value simply due to sheer volume of worthless trash.

great comment took the words out my mouth lol. look at the photo of a bin that got 350$. good luck think iam pretty much given up might just look into bots.

I'm starting to believe this place is mainly a playground for the rich. Thousands of SP is needed to have any impact here and it is very hard for a new people here to gather this amount.

It would be interesting to know how many people can actually make even $100 each month on Steemit.

Too sad if that's the case. huhuhu!

All very well said. dobartim was trying to associate the value of the Steem currency based solely on the success of its users, which makes no logical sense at all. The value of the Steem currency has a lot more to do with what value it offers in terms of its usefulness within the real world and the open markets. I think the Steemit platform does drive up the value of the Steem currency, as does DTube, and the advent of other related platforms; but the success of individuals here is irrelevant to the market value of Steem.

While I see nothing wrong with training people to make better use of Steemit and promoting the platform to new users is probably a good thing, either is irrelevant when it comes to the value of Steem.

What's really nailing the value of crypto's is its shutting out from banks, foreign governments, and the fact that payment processors and merchants across the globe have found the integration of crypto's to be extremely challenging to say the least.

But for someone to sit here and say that the value of Steem is based solely on its users, is like saying the value of the stock market is based on stockholders ability to invest wisely. That's not how the stock market works. The value comes from business productivity and associated profits, not shareholders.

ithout poeple and beleivers you have nothing, if you dont have poeple and users than you have only name without value.

I'd like to see Steemit grow too and for more people to take interest in it as well. But this platform has a serious problem with attracting talented creators when it rarely rewards its users for their hard work and contributions. Steemit has created a one-sided system that only benefits a handful of people, while shunning the rest. Its often the spammers who get the most recognition too. I've seen posts that were nothing more than a few sentences of broken text earning $60. How does this encourage new users to want to contribute to this platform?

They need to change their ranking algorithms to better focus on quality content and stop ranking spam on the front page. All that spam is going to continue to devalue this platform if it continues. Ranking content based on upvotes makes no logical sense at all.

Step by step, smart work and knowledge is very important for success

@dobartim That's a very generic answer, doesn't address the problems mentioned above. I know I'm just wasting my time outlining them because those who can make changes are not interested in them, as current system makes them richer and richer. So why care?
But those who just started recently have so small success, uncorrelated with the amount of effort they put in. Many leave disappointed, looking at the circlejerk of whales.
Who really can make a change and is it possible to contact them?
