Hello fellow steemians this is your crypto-girl @ankarlie. I am writing this article in behalf of @steemitpowerupph, a team of cryptocurrency enthusiasts and Steemians from the Philippines. We formed this business account with the primary purpose of seeking out the different LEGITIMATE cryptocurrency opportunities available online, dissect them, analyze them and share them to the masses in a manner that could be easily be understood most specially those found in the different STEEM applications available in the platform. Its second objective is to get more investors into STEEM Platform and present them with ways on how they EARN in STEEM, actively or passively (yes PASSIVELY more on this later).

We chose Steemit and Steem's other applications as a medium to disseminate information due to prevalent events in other social networking sphere. Both Facebook and Google had been cracking down on cryptocurrency related information and even suppressed advertisement revenues in some of its services. Recently many members of our cryptocurrency group, especially those who are prolific in sharing their air drop links have their twitter account blocked. I myself have been a victim of such hostile treatment in Facebook. My main account in Facebook was blocked several months ago and it has severely affected my earning capacity since the online job I was actively doing that time was linked to that account. Worst of all Months of work network building lost as I have not able to reclaim that account.

The current hostile environment to cryptocurrency of other media outlets is viewed as a THREAT to cryptocurrency at large. However our team views this as an OPPORTUNITY to explore other social networks outlets that are not controlled by centralized entity e.g coporations like Facebook. These hostile acts of established organization affirms that indeed, cryptocurrencies are slowly but surely been creeping in the territories that has long been monopolized by such companies mentioned above. They have taken notice and have viewed them as disrupters to their business, a threat that may cause their company’s demise.

This begs us the question how can we convince people to spend their valuable time using cryptocurrency powered social network such as STEEMIT and more importantly get them to STAY. Well, PAY THEM when they CONTRIBUTE something to the platform. Let us take for example STEEM and its first application STEEMIT. STEEMIT site is first and foremost a blogging site where contributors or Authors are rewarded when fellow members of the STEEMIT community “Upvotes” their contributions. You can liken it to Liking a Facebook posting but it gets monetary rewards in the form of STEEM currencies that can easily be converted to Fiat. Just imagine Facebook that pays you when you provide them content.

Now some of you may ask where does the money come from and how it is this “FUNDED.” Money comes from INVESTORS. They invest in STEEM because they believe that overtime it will increase in Value as demand for the STEEM increases. To stimulate demand for STEEM aside from STEEMIT there are other applications that had been developed such as ZAPPL a twitter like website; STEEPSHOT which functions like instragram; Utopian a monetized version of Github used in open-source contributions; Busy steem’s Facebook equivalent; Dtube a STEEM powered Youtube; Steemgigs decentralized version of Fiverr powered by STEEM and Esteem which is a smartphone optimized version of STEEMIT. Moreover, to increase use-case of STEEM its developers are releasing STEEM MEDIA TOKENS or SMT’s that will enable publishers to monetize their content.

Earlier I have mentioned that we plan to entice investors to invest in STEEM by showing them means on how they can EARN actively and passively in STEEM. Actively is easy to explain. Just create contents to the different available applications that fellow Steemians like and appreciate thus a GREATER CHANCE of getting it rewarded. The operative word there is CHANCE as it is not always a GUARANTEE that great and compelling contents will merit you upvotes especially upvotes from Steemians with greater influence (STEEM POWER)- Whales. This happens on a daily basis but there are many ways to improve your chances by using “post promotional services” readily available.

By using “post promotional services” you can promote your post by paying resteeming services or boost them by BUYING UPVOTES that can attract more UPVOTES. These services are offered by steemit accounts that have very high STEEM POWER. It is a very effective tool to accelerate your reputation score, increase followers and sometimes make actual profit from the “Upvotes” commissioned.

Another active means is the Curation rewards. Curators or those who” Upvotes” gets 25% of the total rewards divided amongst the curators. Even though you are not posting in your blog you may still earn from curating post.

UPVOTE SELLNG is very big business in Steemit and an easy and legitimate way of PASSIVE INCOME when you get paid when you lend these “service providers” (UPVOTE BOTS) your STEEM POWER.
