SteemitPhotoChallenge 34 - My entries from Monserrate@Bogota (Colombia)

Hello Steemers!

The photos this week were all taken exclusively for the challenge and all at the same place : The "Cerro Monserrate", part of the Eastern mountains that limit Bogota's growth in that direction and offer a beautiful view from and to the city.

The hiking path is about 2.5 Km and goes 500 m up. It was closed for almost two years and just opened a month ago. It seems everybody was very eager to go there because the place was so crowded that sometimes people were stuck and could not go forward (or backwards). Many people go there for sport activities or sightseeing but the main attraction of the place is because of religion : there is a church on the top of the mountain and some persons do the hiking as a way to fulfill a promise to God for the favors received.
